Facebook LIVE Chat: Indore Collector will communicate to 1.25 lakh young voters in the district soon.

Indore district election office is planning to interact with more than 60,000 youngsters who will be voting for the first time in this Loksabha Election 2019 by chatting with them LIVE. Yes, you heard it right Indore Collector office to communicate to first-time voters via FACEBOOK LIVE next week. The target is to cover 1.25 lakh young voters in the district.  Indore collector and district election officer, Mr. Lokesh Kumar Jatav, said more than 300 colleges affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, will be covered during a Facebook Live Chat. The number of colleges and educational institutions may increase further. According to Indore Collector, the date of holding the session is not yet decided.

More than 300 college students will participate in the Live Session

Till now 300 colleges have given their consent to involve their children for this interactive Facebook Live Session and efforts are on to involve more. During Live chatting, student will be made aware of the polling procedure. Their queries will be also answered. The district election office is making attempts to take voting percentage above 70.

 

In the last Lok Sabha election, the polling percentage was 64%. The office is carrying out voter awareness activities under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Practices (SVEEP) in the district.  Under SVEEP, the signature wall is placed at different places in the city where voters are putting their signature to vote in LS election.
